I love numbers, and I love helping people. My first experience in combining these loves was earning a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry studying climate change. I then worked for 3M in product development, Six Sigma, and leading business analytics for 3M’s Office Supply Division.

Since 2007, I’ve been a principal at Delta Associates, training and consulting with hundreds of companies globally. Delta Associates created a Business Insights certification program that has helped thousands of professionals tell better stories from their data, changing the focus from reporting what the numbers ARE to what the numbers MEAN. I continue to deliver Delta’s off-the-shelf training programs.

Balanced Analyst is a separate endeavor, focusing on one-on-one coaching and customized training that uses fun to enhance learning. A wise friend introduced me to the idea of a career in three phases: learning, earning and returning. Balanced Analyst is my way of returning – sharing knowledge that helps others learn and earn. All while having fun!
